The latest Horizon 2020 data released by the European Commission in March 2018 shows that Northern Ireland researchers across academia, the private and public sectors have now successfully secured a total of €63.1 million through Horizon 2020.
There has been a total of 191 successful Northern Ireland participations in Horizon 2020 projects with successful applicants being awarded an average grant of €330,525.
Following assurances in relation to the UK’s continued participation in Horizon, Northern Ireland’s world class researchers can look forward to continued opportunities for success during the remainder of Horizon 2020.
