The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment (DETI) has contracted Technopolis |group| to undertake a Review of the Northern Ireland Executive’s approach to supporting participation in Horizon 2020. An introductory letter from DETI is available here: http://info.technopolis-group.com/DETI/.
The aim of the Review is to ensure that policies, programmes and resources are optimally effective and appropriately targeted to help achieve the target of €145m in drawn down funds from H2020. It will determine whether existing support is sufficient to deliver this target, and make recommendations for improving performance. The conclusions will also inform future decisions on the allocation of resources and support to potential applicants.
A central aspect of the study is a survey-based consultation of those involved in undertaking R&D in Northern Ireland. You are invited to contribute to this through an online questionnaire, which can be accessed by clicking on the following link (or copying and pasting this into your browser):

The questionnaire seeks to gauge awareness of key support measures, and to collect views on the appropriateness and effectiveness of these mechanisms. It also explores the drivers and barriers to participation in H2020. The survey will remain open until 11th December.
Thank you in advance for your input to this important exercise. If you would like further information or have any questions, please contact the study team at the following address: .
